  • I never knew silver and gold could be so fun to collect! I only wish I could've bought silver back in 05-06 when I was making and throwing away 2k per week like a retard and silver was like 10 bucks or less.

  • Very good quality video, thanks. My first maple is on its way to me right now... :)

  • It's a really beautiful coin :)

  • its the silver that is worth something not the shininess. plus that bitch on the front of that coin is the true owner of the silver.

  • You sir, appear to be obsessed with your silver maple.

    lol.

    Can't wait to get mine.

  • Holding a silver coin with your bare hands? I bet that coin isn't looking so pretty now.

  • @largesatsuma Still looks perfect. Wash your hands with soap to rid the skin of any oils and only handle the coin by its edges and all will be fine.

  • @RyanB0011 No matter how well you wash your hands our bodies emit enzymes and oils that damage coins. Although the damage isn't apparent immediately, in 50 years it can affect your coins face. Either way, if you are serious about collecting get yourself a pair of white gloves, they are like $5 bucks on ebay man!

  • @largesatsuma lol, thats the mistake that i made when i bought my first silver coin, handled my silver eagle like i would with a worthless fiat currency, needless to say it now looks like silver from the 16th century that had just been unearthed.

  • oh looks like 1/100 of an average home :)

  • Just bought three 10 ounce Scottsdale stackers and five of these one ounce silver maples, can't wait for them to come in. I'm already obsessed :(

  • is that a proof coin or UNC?

  • this video is a great enticement for people to collect or have a home biz

the quality of the mapleleaf is druling-worthy

  • that's beautiful.

  • MY ENGLISH IS BROKEN.AUF WIEDERSEHEN

  • So out all silver you like Maple leafs best? Thinking about picking some up and I always could use one for poker card marker

  • Please film the first Maples. I believe it was year 1984-ish. IMHO the best ever.

  • GAWD... it's so beautiful!

    It's a silver porn!

  • You guys don't understand. This coin used to be used as actual currency. During its time it was worth 5 dollars consistently. Since most countries are not on the gold/silver standard this is just a historic coin. All future coins are just replicas with silver/gold content.

  • Silver Eagle looks like shit now.

  • Nice!!!!!!

  • ....CAUSE IT LOOK NICE WITH IT?

  • I cant wait to get my shipments of gold and silver. I will have 60 ounces of silver and a whopping 2 ounces of gold lol. I was thinking of selling my jewellery but I think I will hold all of my precious metals for the next 3-5 years and see where it goes from there.

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 good idea there will be massive inflation... I just bought 2 more

2011 United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Silver Proof Sets for $42 each on the us mint's website.... they are 90% silver and you get 5 of them which come out to be an oz of silver in 5 nice proof coins for only 5% over the spot price of gold. why pay 50% over the spot price of gold for an american eagle proof??? The mint doesn't really make sense with their prices.

  • @p154831 Yeah we already saw Gold reach a new high at 1600+ a few days ago. I think Silver will eventually get close to $50.00 an ounce or higher only time will tell, you just have to be patient. I bought from silvergoldbull they are based in Canada and have great pricing just thought I would share :)

  • Is it wise or advisable to handle your silver like that? I want to hold mine so desperately but I dare not wish to tarnish such fine silver.

  • Beautiful coin you have there! Please also check out my videos too! Thank you.

  • i have 2 of these 5 dollar coins from 1994, found them hidden away in my room and i dont know how the fuck i ended up with them and im from the UK aha

  • @mapnxyaha2k10 Do you mean 5 Boxes of this ?

  • @dennie6666

i have 2 of these $5 coins from 1994 somehow, you know how to sell them?

  • I am 23 and Since last year i have 100 plus of these in my colection with other types. They are my favorite, but so is NTR 10 Ounce bars, Scottsdale 1 OZ and 10 OZ stalkers. and anything else I can get my hands on. I will be buying all the way down. Or all the way up. I could see a movie, but instead i buy silver. I could go out to eat, I buy silver instead. I could get some junk food. I buy Silver instead. I could buy gagets, new computer, new clothes, beer, etc. I buy Silver instead (:

  • @Nathan21122012 You are real smart for your age. I wish i had bought silver when I had the chance for it.

Those maple leaf silver coins are like money. You can change it everywhere.

  • @Nathan21122012: You have found the road to success, comrade. Being rich is a state of mind, a fierce determination. Those $80 sneakers and that $25 lobster dinner are obstacles to avoid. Thanks for the inspiration.

More people would be rich if they could only control their urge to shop!

  • @RogueReplicant: Greetings fellow Rush fan.

  • @RogueReplicant It is awesome when you get a reply to 8 month old comments (: I still maintain this, even after the steep correction. Keep collecting, and building your wealth bud (: SLA.

  • @Nathan21122012 good but live more

  • SILVER PORN!!!

  • loved that maple leaf design, but it definitely could do better without the queen's face on front.

  • This baby owns American Silver Eagles.

  • Looks good, but I don't want any coins or rounds with that chic on it. Why are the canadians so infatuated with her?

  • i just jizzed everywhere.

  • @StukityFarnsworth I had the courtesy to JIZZ IN MA PANTZ! I also ordering a sealed tube next week, hopefully the prices stay around 33-34 per oz until then.

  • @MrNopehaha haha same man. im buying soon; keep stacking man :)

  • @StukityFarnsworth Actually, last night early in the AM the price of silver dropped to 32.50 over here and I jumped to place my Whole tube order in just in time!

  • Pitty it has the queens dirty head on it

  • better than the american silver eagle which is not 9999 silver and is only $1.00

  • In my opinion, the most beautiful of all the silver bullion coins. And great purity. I wouldn't put it passed them to produce a 999.99 version at some point like the gold version. One thing I would say about the face value issue, it stands as a form of recognition to "official" minted money rather than a round bit of metal with a design. So perhaps it makes people feel more secure that it will be recognised as pure silver money rather than a sense of doubt hanging over it. Just a thought.

  • how many 2010 silver maple was minted?

  • They should make this coin in a 1 KG size every year. Awesome coin and GREAT video quality!!

  • just dont like the fact it says $5 when it's worth 4x more than that.

  • @boipinoi604 You will never find a silver maple leaf selling for 5 dollars ever. The people who buy and sell these know there real value.

  • @RyanB0011 Then need to get rid of that face value

  • @boipinoi604 Then the face value would change every single year. What sense would that make? I don't know of any bullion coins or even circulation coins that have a face value that match there intrinsic value.

  • @RyanB0011 Exact;y. You just proved my point. Having a face value that does not reflect the real value is just wrong. It's better off without a face value.

  • @boipinoi604 But when you have a face value you have insurance. It will never be valued at under 5 dollars, ever. No face value means it could potentially be worth less than 5 dollars.

Nobody bothers with the face value it is irrelevant, but for the holder its a slight 'insurance' policy.

  • @RyanB0011 Hey buddy, just bumped into our old convo. You do have a point by having a face value would ensure the worth of these coins would no less than $5bucks. So I would much prefer these Canadian Maple Leafs over the American Eagles which has a face value of $1

  • @RyanB0011 the advantage of a "face" value is that it makes it "LEGAL TENDER", otherwise is would just be a round.

  • @alstar70 true

  • @RyanB0011 Yeah i know that it is legal tender but do you really think that mcdonalds would accept a silver maple leaf?

  • @p154831 Mc Donald's has NO choice but to accept legal tender as long as it's Canadian gov issued coins, and with Maple leafs they would have to accept them for $5 each and that sucks as the price is just about to SKY-ROCKET...right about now!

Watch over the next two weeks.

  • @connectingdots1 I know that they have no choice but to accept it. However, most mcdonlad's workers have a very low intellgence level and probably would think it isn't legal tender because they've never seen one before. I just got a few canadian silver cougars when it was at $29 so I hope you are right.

  • @boipinoi604 when taking ur silver to some other countries you can declare it as 5 dollars instead of £35. + point for having the face value

  • @loyalbabu Nice. Or do what the asians did, liquidated their assets for gold jewelry and immigrated to north america.

  • @boipinoi604 it's Royal Canadian Mint issued which means it has to have a face falue.

  • @boipinoi604 IS JUST A FACE VALUE.CAUSE PRICE GOES UP N DOWN CAN YOU IMAGINE

$23.17 OR 14.99 OR $130.00 THE CAN'T PUT AN ESPECIFIC NUMBER FOR THE COIN.

1 OZ OF SILVER SHOUT HAVE $1.00 DOLLAR, LIKE GOLD IS ALL WAYS $50.00 DOLLARS

BUT NOW IS AT $1,600.00 AN OZ

  • @JORGENUNEZRAMSES33 Exactly my point, if the price adjust all the time why have a face value?

  • Comment removed

  • @boipinoi604 Face value on the coin is important...its real money and shows you how much your paper money has been devalued.

  • @boipinoi604 Yeah I though it was odd too when I started coin collecting. American Eagles and Austrian Philharmonic have even lower face value of 1 USD and 1.5 Euro respectively.

  • @poetsguide I don't find it odd anymore. I like the fact that my maple leaf will never be under $5

  • I love this coin -- very pure!!

  • Sexy Silver Canadian Maple Leaf !

  • sweet!
