I recently got my pally to 80 and got him geared up for healing and I also have a holy priest (I like to heal =P) and sometimes raid healing gets boring also for those of u that are calling tank healing boring, you shouldn't made a pried and gone disc holy cuz Disc is tank heals an holy is raid

A good holy paladin will stack INT then Crit, never SP. Haste is also something that I've seen holy paladins stack which is big fucking fail. Unlock with other healing classes, you want slower-harder hitting heals. FoL is still a good "oh shit" heal more or less and paired with Infusion of Light is a nice kick for FoL. I've seen some pretty good FoL specs but HL all the way in my opinion.

@xNerdy With the nerf to Illumination crit is no longer as great a stat as it once was for Holy Paladins. Since crit is usually only overheal, you could argue that mp5 was a more valuable stat given the same item cost, although I'd be inclined to call them equal.

Haste on the other hand is a Holy Light focused Paladins best throughput stat, way above crit, it increases the amount of spells you can cast during an encounter and the likelyhood that your heal will land in time.

@Music0Is0My0Life00 He's using Judgement of Light on whatever the raid is hitting. As a Holy Paladin you should aim to judge at least once per minute to keep up your Judgements of the Pure talent (if you don't have 5/5 in this you need to respec right now) but let it be known that judging as often as it is off CD is a net gain in mana, but obviously you have to weigh up whether it's worth the GCD.

Tbh why do you all care who heals like what? im a tank healer so i mainly use HoL cause most of the time FoL isn't going to cut it, but i don't spam HoL onthe tank only when its needed but if my mana pool was larger and i had abit more haste id just HoL, so you guys arguing over who use's what is pointless ... if it work's for you use it if it dosen't then don't simple

It doesn't matter what you think too be honest. almost every pally will still heal with only holy light. and obviously your mainly just pvp'ing so true. there is no use of spamming it. but when you get upwards off 400 haste and your holy lights are 1.5 second cast. then who the hell cares what your casting.

problem with holy light is they are big and slow... i mean i would use holy light if i got some pve gear but im healing in half pvp and half pve so i got to use flash of light and holy shock. But i agree overhealing is not neccessary i would holy light only when needed even if i had that much mana. Plus the glyph for holy light is honestly useless unless you get people huddle together. My pally has 3300 sp btw self buffed with 26k mana.

i have been healing as a paladin for about 2 years now and i have always spam FoL and Stack SP and then INT... i dont get why people stack 20 int in ever socket and spam holy light, all i see is so much over healing that is not needed... yet everybody still seems to be doing it. I pretty much never use holy light in a 5, 10 or 25 man, i have 25k Mana and 2500SP... FoL and Holy Shock seem fine. No?

but that is not "the best" thing you can do, why settle for less? if you can spam a spell that heals for 3x more than flash of light and never run out of mana then what would be the point of using flash of light? my holy light is just as fast as flash of light and i dont run out of mana so there is no reason not to use it.

kaine i am also a FOL spamer, HL is for tank healing not raid healing. no offence to Drizzay but if i were in a group with him i would outheal him no contest by how i am build. i am a raid healer my heals will b much faster then his heals. stacking intell is nice since u get crit,sp and lots of mana from it alone. however its not for everyone i got tired of being a tank healer. i have a vid of only my character if u wish to see him so u dont have to waste time armory me. just clicky my name

In a raid, HL will always be superior to FoL. That's why we Gem nothing but pure +20 Intellect on our gear. If you spam nothing but FoL/SS/& Holy Shock then your tank is not gonna survive that long due to weak heals no matter how much you gem a lot of SP Gems on it.

@kaine180 If you're healing raids with a 2.5k SP FoL, the other healers are carrying you. My holy Paladin packs 2.7k SP and a 1 second FoL cast and there's no way I could tank heal ToC or ICC with primarily FoL and Holy Shock.

pala healers are rly good , u just judgement on boss and it heals psycal attackers for 500 and just spam holy light on tank * nowdays paladins got 40 000 mana self buffed so oom is not problem ^^ and bacon ot so ... and that glyph to heal 5 nearest ppl for 10% of holy light its good too .. so they are rly best ^^ saw clip pala solo healed festergut which is rly hard boss for healers ...

@PLDelight He's using Judgement of Light on the boss, and asrambotnik1 said, it heals all who attacks the boss. Reason why it heals 10+. Holy pallys <3

Hey, great video! I have two questions! First of all, what add on is the one you were talking about that lets you see when your BoL and Sacred Shield and stuff is about to run out on the MT? Secondly, I just started off as a holy paladin and I am having trouble with finding someone to heal....Does grid indicate who is low..? In 25 mans I just set focus the tank and he is hardly ever low..and my HPS is really low because of this.. Thanks!

key board turning ill probley get called a noob but i only see keybindings and mouse turning being requiered for melee who have to move alot but for ranged and heals who dont have to move much i think keyboard turning is fines especially when using ur mouse with healbot and clique

well as a healer you can heal facing any way. i strafe left and right and move forward and backward with my keys. when it comes to turning around it takes barely a second to move off of grid and just flick your screen around with your mouse.

More of a general healing question, but I tried healing my way through nexus with my holy pally and I can't get enough healing out. My mana efficiency was fine, but I couldn't put out enough healing. I'm only 73 so it might make a difference, but I'd like to start healing now.

lower level paladin healing can be a really big pain, i remember when i tried healing instances as i was lvling and i had much more trouble during those times. your best bet is to lvl up to 80 and it becomes much easier

@x360wizard He probably had glyph of holy light that heals people around the healed person, plus beacon of light on the tank so people around the tank get healed and beacon redirects heals back at caster= heals around the caster= raid heal lol.
