I have a 1993 T4 diesel engine just like this one in my T4 Transporter. I need to buy a new timing belt cover since mine is missing! Can you please look on yours and see if there is a part number anywhere on it ? I would really appreciate any help on this. Etka does not help and my VW dealer has no clue. Thanks, Jeff in California
oil filter for RHD 2.4 T4 is at back of sump . put vehicle on ramps. remove bellypan. look at back of sump, there is a crossmember. to rear of crossmember. next to rear wheel drive gear housing is a cavity. oil filter in cavity. Canberra australia

You must be an expert vw mechanic... I've just got a 2.4 t4 and I want to change the oil but i can'tfind the oil filter anywhere!
I've removed the belly pan but can't see it anywhere or the drain plug for that matter!
