Bush didn't get almost universally positive coverage from the media like Obama did. It's not even debatable that the press, on the whole, were cheerleaders for Obama and still are. At this point in his term, Obama's gotten 3 to 4 times the coverage Bush got his first term and over 60% of it has been positive, compared to only about 30% positive coverage for Bush...
