Actually, I don't choose to look androgynous, I just do it, it's just who I am naturally. I don't do it intentionally.

Yeah, being a transgendered person myself that's pretty much in-between. I can understand that its complex, so don't worry.
As for the guy that's androgynous, you just apologize and go on. If they make a stink about it, let the manager handle it. :)
