Thats exactly what you want in the front. Compress all the way but don't bottom out. That is what keeps the rear from coming off the ground in braking and gives you max corner speed.

@Ch3wToy it's funny you mention that because we were having fork issues all weekend. They kept bottoming out in 6 which was giving him real trouble... we never got it fully worked out, but the forks were passable. The day after this race, the motor blew up on the front straight and the weekend was over, so we never got a chance to get them exactly right.
