@TylerXProductions yeah exactly.. im stating my oppinion.. ur trying to be a bitch and take that away from me... ive talked to professional drummers before, like dan delong, he used to teach bluecoats and some other dci stuff, he has barkers cell number no lie. he said barker is really cool and shit, but he has terreble tecnique and hes only focused on one type of music... and being from bluecoats hes all about tec. and marching... hes playing set, so its obviously not marching. u r so stupid

@TylerXProductions okay dude i was wrong, travis isnt a "bad" drummer, but if u see him live, his stuff is all super watered down.. no 16th notes all 8th, nothing crazy on cymbals.. and that "marching" part.. its not marching, its on his rim, and its so super easy. u wanna see some good marching stuff, look up drew guy 2010 I&E solo.... fucking insane!! but u can always compair drummers, cuz most professional drummers practce all types of music, but travis doesnt.. hes not as skilled seriously

Hi im thinking of mic-ing up my drums

Iv found sets on eBay for the mics but I dont know anything about the equipment used for mixing the mics and inputting them into my pc

And advice would be much appreciated thankyou

Well I've been drumming for 6 years but i've never had the $ to afford to rig my set with mics. But all I know is that you have to buy mixing software for your comp and then run the mics into an audio input and record your playing on the mixing software, then add the song track. Thats my guess but if anything you should just pm this guy playing. Good luck.

they're called accents, you just play certain beats of the roll louder than the others

it will take some practice but its not terribly difficult. when you want to ad in an accent just take a bigger backswing with your stick. look it up, im sure someone can explain how to actually do it better than i can.
