I'm an oil pastel user myself. DO you use a layering style? I always start with a base color and keep lightly oing over the top wwith different shades n colors. Are you the same? :) Lovely work btw.

my art teacher tells me to do it that way. But fuck that. I block the tones then tone them better later on. Much better than her shite.

in school we learnt how to use oil pastels andd i loved it so i went and bought a pack but it turned out that we only did oil pastels for one class so i oonly learnt how to draw a mug and a ball i would really like to learn somthing more so can you please post some easy thing that i can work on..
