I think I know which chord you're talking about, and it's not wrong, it's the old way. I have six versions of this song in my music collection. The four between '97 and '02 have the lower chord that I'm using here. The versions from '03 and '04 have the higher chord that you are referring to.

I meant the "notes" in the riff you play at the very beginnig, not the "chords" (the riff i meant isn´t present in the "new" video you send me).

Ani´s open tunings are cool but hard. I hope my comment didn´t piss you off, can I make it up by saying you have a great singing voice?

Haha, oh the intro, oops. When you said 'phrase' it made me think of the verse, which varies too.

I've heard her play the intro two ways as well, so we'll try this again!

Regarding /watch?v=54svqUTjxfM you are absolutely right, I never heard her play it that way, I though you were just geting it wrong, apologies... i still like the older version better, though.

I saw her live in at the "Shepered´s Bush Empire" in London in 2000 and totally loved it, even though i just knew a few songs at the time.

That drum is not a bongo, its an African drum called a djembe. I think Samantha is doing a great job with it and she's right on beat. The cover sounds great. Its one of my fav. Ani songs. Great vocals too!

This is such an amazing cover, I hate most covers and to like a cover of such an amazing singer is astounding to me, very well done. I love this record, little plastic castle, it's my favorite of Ani's.
