Some scholars have made it equally horrible when they reduced Gramsci into object of academic discipline. Gramsci's revolutionary politic of Marxism was removed to object of cultural studies and semiotics. Gramsci was someone who completed my take of Marxism by substituting the rich aspect of cultural analysis with his revolutionary politic in a way that Marx, Engels, Luxemburg, Lenin and Trotsky didn't do.  This is great video.

It is bad enough that Palmiro Togliatti have became Stalinist after Antonio Gramsci passed away and Stalinized Italian Communist Party. It is bad enough that after Italian Communist Party took the path of "Eurocommunism" and maintained royalty for Soviet Union, they also claimed that they were the continuation of Gramsci(even by having his photo on their newspaper). And by doing so they have portrayed Gramsci as origin of all the problems of Italian Communist Party.
