Thanks for the advice. I'll certainly forward it to her. I might look into it myself. I have a flourscent lamp that I've used in the past for Hydroponics but it now is in our all-purpose room and I use it for all my projects (computer, videos, sewing, etc.)

HI! My sister wants to start growing plants Hydroponically (is that a word?). What would you recommend for the real Newbie Hydroponicer?

She should start off trying out the Aerogarden. Very simple and it works great....especially for herbs.
