  • Beautiful Tank!!

  • If you cant locate my utube channel, its sibehrends. Cya.

  • i now want to get a biocube uv strilizer but i hav a rio 6 pump wich is 250 gph and the biocube sterilizer says dont exceed 300, but the pump is also pushing the water up about 7 inches r so, so maybe its not pumping at 350.

  • Nice... I am an aspiring marine biologist and must say you have a wicked setup...

  • pix are cool, but audio SUX!!!! LOSE IT

  • tank looks great

  • Awesome tank, do you have plans to build the LED hood?

  • Conrad no as ling as you have a good clean up crew very nice tank one of the best I've sern

  • Awsome tank. Looks awsome. Isn' 6 fish a bit much?

  • stunning tank, my hqi is about 3 months old, but my rock work isnt nearly good as yours, but i hope to have a video up soon

  • I have app 30lbs of rocks. The fish saver keeps fish from jumping back into the sump. :-) The new Biocubes come with fish savers.

  • Im using all of the lights including the PCs.

  • Thank you soooo much!!!!! You should see my 54 coner tank. LOL... I just uploaded a video of it.

  • Its not a custom cover. Its the original lid. I drilled 2 wholes, used 2 screws and put caps on the screws. Look at it ahain, youll see the caps on the lid. They sell the caps in HomeDepo!!!!! :-)

  • I use 50 micron floss, Iodine, Tropic Marine Cal, Reef Results Cal, Mag and PH buffer. I do water changes every month (5 gallons)

    PS Thanks for the comment!!

  • what kind of filter media do u use? Do u use any supplements? How do u maintain your tank? awesome tank btw.

  • very nice vido all around, i have a question, i want to add two stunner strips to my bio cube under the feeding lid and was wondering where you got that custom lid cover under your feeding lid. its very nice and i cant find it anywhere. if you have time to reply thanks.

  • Very nice! Very clean and full, looks like the box cover

  • so are you only using leds or are the compact flourescents included?

  • Very nice tank!!! Looks very nicely "full". how much live rock would you say you're using? What does the "Custom Fish Saver" do?

  • whos the song by?

  • plumb???

  • What is PLUMP?? Plumbing?

  • How long has this tank been setup? It looks great and is very very clean.

  • It has been up and running for 8 months.

  • I think you could have made the music louder, try again

  • Yes, Im using the stock pump.

  • are you still using the stock pump?

  • are led lights better for reef tanks? I am planning to get one of those soon but it will help the hard corals and soft corals to grow? instead of getting metal halides I can get LED lights for a cheaper price? led lights are much cheaper then any kind of light? will xenia corals grow much more better with those LED lights?

  • why arent the coral banded shrimp tearing eachothers arms off?? i demand some carnage!

  • Is a couple, male and female (breeding couple).

  • No, it is very easy toi keep a reef in a BioCube.

  • How did you mount the PowerBrite shown to the 'feeding' lid?

  • I drilled two small holes through the lid. Look at the video, you will see two black caps on the hood that hide the screws.

  • This tank looks really nice. The lighting helps it look even better. You mentioned adding two powerbrites to the stock lighting. However, in the video clip I could only see one of them. where did you placed the other module? Once again this tank looks amazing.

  • The second PowerBrite is between the two power compact lights (middle). I had to move one of the lights in order for it to fit.

  • So are 2 Powerbrites just supplementing the PC bulbs or are you just running the 2 Powerbrite strips on their own?

I have seen these lights and was thinking about getting 2 or 3 but read they are like a spot light.

    What colors are you using?

  • Im using 2 10k PowerBrites as supplemental lighting. The Actinic PowerBrites WILL spot your tank with blue zones. The 10k is perfect. Be advised that this video does not show just how much shimmer the tank really has. Its AWSOME. Just like MH lights.

  • Use the 10k, they do NOT spot the water. But, the actinic ones DO spot the water.

  • do you have to change led bulbs or what

  • Not at all. They last 50,000 hrs. 5 to 8 years depending on how much you use them.

  • Stunning!!! Your cube looks Outstanding. Do you have a fuge? I just got a 29 cube. I'm sending out top to reto with cree LED lighting. Have you made any mods to fiter area?

  • Thanks for the comment!!! I dont have a fuge but I did place mangroves (laying down) on the trickle try with a peice of 50 Micron floss. I helps alot. I also use 50 micron floss in the first slot of the filter insert and blue/white filter med. on the other slots. Also 1 large bag of carbon under the trickle try. Nitrites 0, Ammonium 0, Nitrates 0, PH 8.2, Phos .02. Temp 76-77.

  • @thxspanky

I just got a 14 g and i'm looking to do plant filtration. what is the best plant for the job? and will I need lights in the middle compartment? i was thinking chaeto but i really dont know. is mangrove better?

  • In my cube I use only Mangroves. But in my larger tank I use both Chaeto and Mangroves. I kept the original center filtration the same.

  • @thxspanky is a reef tank hard to keep in the biocube? i might be getting a biocube

  • Lotta softies!
