people make it seem as if japan has been "duped." anyone who thinks that japan doesn't know what they're doing when the cut interest rates is a retard, including peter schiff, though I doubt he really believes that. Japanese leaders, as they have been throughout history, are the prison bitches of U.S. and British economic interests. (rich white guys) japan knows cutting rates will be bad for their economy, but they don't have a choice.

This pozi scheme will be over if no one wants to lend US more money. Right now neither Japanese nor Chinese are asking their money back. But they are not that stupid to continue lending more money to US. This will also hit badly to US. Actually both Chinese and Japanese know that they will destroy dollar if they want money back. It's already too late for them. Yet they still hesitate to destroy dollar, simply because they don't want to face the inevitable consequences.
