I'm considering the same mods on mine also does it make that big of a difference? What does it do to your mileage I know I didn't buy the car to save the planet but don't want to just through money away ether.

@bash1288 you get a better sound comming from the intake, but in terms of MPG... its maybe like a 1-3 gain depending on your driving

@MalibuCanyons Yea its almost like if you have a blow of valve. What i like it is that if your pushing it, its pretty loud but when your not you could just here it hissing.

@fightersthought I buy my part form different website i also check the forums for any good deals, some of the website i buy my part are fastwrx dot com and rally sport direct dot com. rallysportdirect is a really good website they have alot of inventory and great prices. hope this helped

u ran the intake without an accessport? I've gotten mixed responses from subaru and a cobb rep. I was told by cobb rep not to do it without the accessport cause it can damage in the long run.

@MrImrezaWRX hey thanks for replying. I wanna put this setup in my wrx but i''ve heard negative feedback from subaru mechanics that they've had ppl come in with problems after flashing and also dyno. How long have you had it and have you had any issues with it so far? I even went as far as emailing subaru corp because they wont be releasing the SPT intakes from the 08's and ^. Freaking bogus. they say it's okay to use intake but the moment you flash the ecu warranty may be void.

@Ultima2032 I really like cobbs intake its really well built and sounds great. So far i haven't had any problems everything seems to be work just fine. As for the warranty im not sure, but i guess thats a risk you are taking when you mod your car.

dude you're my brother from another mother lol I have the same exact car as you, hatch and everything with the same intake and hose... did you find the stock hose to be a bitch to take off? i love the sound that it has now with the intake... the swoosh is soo nice! check out my vids man .. i still need to update the cabin sound with the intake but ill do that later lol

@chemguy90 haha lol thats funny. Yea i also found it kind of hard to remove the stock air box hose. it was on their pretty tight. I love the sound it makes, its music to my ears lol

Question pls, how is the bottom of the box? Is it closed or open @ the bottom? If you take the fogglights out there is a bunch of free air that goes directly to the intake, if the box is closed @ the bottom you might want to consider making some holes in it for some extra air :) Nice ride :)

Hey what tune did you use and what is the psi you are getting? I ran a 91 stage 1 plus aem get around 14-15 psi. I could go to 93 but dont want to chance it for 1 psi. what are you pushing? PS get the GREDDY SE! You wont regret it!

@onbooSTihooning lol i was so close in getting the one with the blue hose. until i come across the black one on rallysportdirect. had to wait a couple of weeks because it was so new that they still didnt even have the item from Cobb. But it was worth the wait.

@onbooSTihooning hey!! i know you were just talking about how you were not diggin the offset color blue hose........ this guy has the black one it even has cobb logo on it... maybe you can call cobb and complain. sayin you were not happy with your intake.
