Bryant got creative calling the jump an attack. Possible history of erratic behaviour facilitated this. Everything is on video and happened quickly so the history is irrelevant. It is Bryant's failure to stop and remain in the first accident which leads to the second accident ending in death. Everything is on video.

At the same time all six witnesses who claimed encounters with Sheppard drove away in a safe manner. Just an observation regardless of relevance. No erratic driving like Bryant who is experienced lawyer, politician, and likely trained to handle tough situations.

Strange the charges were dropped and no more charges were laid. Strange they are still not reinstated by the Crown and AG. Willful blindness? Everyone should be concerned.

Heartbreaking, a criminal act of murder. I have several questions.

1.Why wasn't Bryant charged with leaving the scene of an accident?

2. Why was Mrs. Bryant allowed to leave without filing a statement?

3. Why was Bryant not given a bail hearing,

4. Why Bryant allowed to leave without filing a statement?

He just killed someone with his car, fled the scene - and he was allowed to go home? He just ran over someone and left them dying in the street, and he's allowed to go home?

Conflict of interest, probably. He's well connected, appointed judges, so he could make life difficult for the investigators. He also wasn't given a breathalyzer based on his word. I guess this means he was in full control of his vehicle when he committed the crime, and that means there was intent.

Also, he fled two accidents. And the passenger was a blonde who fled the car. Bryant's wife is a brunette,so who was this mysterious passenger who ran away?This should be under homicide not traffic

The correct charge is second degree murder. Bryant obviously intended to harm or kill Sheppard. What a shame.

Maybe Bryant should have sought counseling or hospitalization months ago for his problems.

"obviously"? I've watched the video several times. There's nothing obvious there, and it seems inconclusive. Please point out what's obvious.

I'm both a cyclist and a driver and I'm very curious to know what happened.

I think Bryant ramming the cyclist with his car for over 20 feet along the pavement from a standing start is what widedisplay is referring to.. The dark form ahead of the car in the black and white footage is Sheppard on his bicycle.

I would be interested to hear your account and interpretation of what you yourself see, instead of negative statements against others.

Can you make a point form descriptive, factual account of what you see in these video clips?

Saying "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" doesn't count.

Honestedits has been good enough to upload the videos without annotation. Check out 'raw footage', where you see more of the clips. Video clip two is shown here with Bryant backing up, but in the Raw Footage, it shows him pushing forward Darcy on his bike. Darcy gets up off the ground as Bryant backs up and hits the gas to go around him. Darcy is trying to chase the car down, which was essentially a hit and run. No time to even talk, as far as I can tell. Witnesses said Bryant was yelling.
