Again, why is there a comparison? Each of the ladies are great artistes in their own rights. Well I thought they both were disappointing! It didnt feel like it was sung from the heart like on other performances together! If seemed like they were trying to outdo each other and also if you look at Mariahs face near the start it is so unrelaxed and it almost seems as if she is concentrating and trying and trying to out sing her counterpart! I just listened to it again & Whitney messed up on her harmony parts.. She was trying to sing Mariah's parts & we all know that it's rude to step on someone's toes.. That was a little too Diva even for Whitney.. She left no room in the song to breathe for Mariah to sing the correct parts that are supposed to be there.. At her peak which was 85-1998 if she had an album out every year I think her and Mariah would be even sales wise.
