  • waffenlandser 1 is a very bitter and angry Jew. No surprise that he would comment negative way. How do I know this? he left childish crap words for me once. He has an Israeli flag as an Avatar.

  • in many ways i do hate soviet generals more than any other because most of them

had absolutely no consideration for there soldiers at all.

Even the most cold blooded ss generals wouldn't send his men practically running at trenches without weapons! maybe because germany was completely outnumbered in sheer numbers of men and equipment.

  • 0:35 wrong dude! The light didnt blind them, it just made the soviet tanks visible in the darkness....

  • Yes it did. Zhukov got more of his boys slaughtered by using his damned spot lights than died from his sending tanks across the Oder before the artillery.

But what the hell, Zhukov referred to his men as 'bayonets,' he didn't give a shit about them. The history channel has aired documentaries where red army vets say that they hated him.

  • I am against communism for its practical and economic grounds, not religious. Believe me after Bush I wouldn't be living in the U.S. if that were the case. Communism does not facilitate atheism, rather refuses to acknowledge the divide that "religion" and "atheism" cause amongst people. This was not a religious war, no matter what anyone says, no way. Like always, this was about money, land and payback to the Allies of WW1.

  • Well, is it not more for the side who composed it? No, I don't care about communists, especially most members of the Red Army. It was typically more of a shared song between the Western Allies and National Socialist Germany; not to say that some communists didn't enjoy it though.

  • Hitler wasn't going to dominate the world. If he was, I wouldn't be speaking English. He had trouble with Britain, then the U.S. came in. I understand the Soviets certainly helped. However, what did they do? Nations were destroyed behind Stalin's "iron curtain" I am glad you brought in the religious connotations, it does cause war, or at least aid and embed them. I am aware, I stand by my statement and its implications. Mainly that I am against militant communists and those in the U.S. period.

  • the video was a little weak but the MESSAGE was WONDERFUL.

Btw....only recently did Moscow admit how many Soviet soldiers were actually killed or wounded in the Battle of Berlin.( Look further than WIKI )

Historians dismiss the "Volksturm" but I tell you right now, I am 52 years old and I would do the same to protect my country from invaders like the Red Army or Muslims.

( Lili Marlene...a song adopted by both the German and English Army)

  • Yeah, I know, I made it in about 5 minutes. I was busy that day and got it in pretty much right before midnight. I know many died. Some 30,000 + at Seelow vs a mere 11,000 or so German casualty count. The Volksturm was half the defense. About 40,000 Volksturm and about 45,000 Wehrmacht/SS troops. Less than 100,000 men, only half of which were truly tested and trained, held out for over a week against literally hundreds of thousands. A true testament.

  • Actually we are already under occupation from the southern border. No one can stop the enemy because they are in side the gates my friends.

I wish Americans love their countries and ideology like the Muslims or the Russians.

  • You are not playing "nice" Heydrich10 !

I'm just having my morning coffee and you have already "pushed my button".

Here in California, if you "love your country and ideology" you are considered a racist.

Yes, the "enemy is inside the gates"...but I will go one step further, more like a cancer spreading through our country.

Let's get back to the subject please. I was wondering if anyone here has been to Berlin recently? Is the Soviet Army victory (tank) shrine still there?

  • I had heard of it but never heard it myself until now. Thanks for the upload.

  • I've always liked this song too.
