Looking at Blitz I was thinking we should decide to name this breed "BEARnese" instead of Bernese! ;)

The coats on the Berners do seem to vary. My dog Blitz has a thick long coat. Others have a coat that is much shorter. Sometimes wavy, sometimes curly. Hard to say sometimes what you'll end up with.

Is there differint coat sizes ? Because some bermers have longer thincker coats than others ? or is that all in the parents?

who couldn't love these dogs, blitz looks like he'd do better in my colorado mountains ;). our berner harley is a small 100lbs, but one of the boys up the street is 160 (bout the same size as blitz).

YES! He is a beast. He's such a great dog. I can't tell you how much fun he is to have around. He's also spoiled too...

We have a 90lb 2 year old Berner that is still such a puppy I don't think she"ll ever grow up and calm down> Love the video. Blitz is a beast!!!

That's Blitz. He's 165 pounds of pure Bernese Mountain Dog. He's pretty popular in the San Diego area. A real gentle giant.

sooo unfair iv seen maybe 3 berners in my life while driving never met one but although that they are my fav breed and i want 2 females sooo bad i want one called jesse and one called skye
