The old guy was a former wrestler who was caught cheating in the ring and sealed in a tree as punishment (I think). He tricked the blue guy into letting him become part of his body. They switch forms while they wrestle. If the old guy is wrestling, the blue guy is his stomach. If the blue guy wrestles, the old guy is his right arm.

You should see Barrierfreeman in the manga. Seriously, I have come to deal with the fact that the manga is a lot more gory and mature than the anime (Thanks to 4kids signing a contract with Yudetamago forcing him to have Toei animations edit the anime visually) but the Barrierfreeman match was the only one that truly grossed me out.  One of his attacks involves him using a hemorhoid to trap an opponent in place.
