  • great personality. thanks for your work.

  • @streetfightsecrets It is far worse than this in the US! In some places in the US, kids aren't just stabbing each other, they're shooting each other. In some cases, they even shoot or stab the teachers. It's pathetic...

  • Totally agree with everything you said. I was in the Army for 22 years and know the importance of decline and punishments. I think the kids in schools should have more respect for education in general. And parents should also treat teachers with a lot more respect.

Everything you said was very accurate

  • Thanks for the upload Rich...a few more like you and we might actually be able to sort out this mess.

  • It is the "united front" between parents and teachers that needs to be re-established. If I got in to any trouble at school I was just as scared of the telling off and sanctions from my parents as the punishment at school. Also the outlet via a form of combative sport - kick-boxing, boxing, MMA etc would work wonders, thing is, the 'do gooders' and the politically correct would never let it happen in the UK. "If what you are doing is not working, do something else" - simple

  • I love you man, i like how in even serious situations like these you can add alittle bit of humour to lighten things up like the 'Here have this punch, now away with you' made me lol so hard. But on a serious note, you pose very good points and i'm sure all of your subscribers see you as their massiah when it comes to things like this and they listen to your word like it's law.

  • and Ultimately there were NO Winners here... One boys dead as much as I could care less, and another is traumatized for life. And Im not real sure after this he has much prospect for a normal healthy life or that he wont end up on drugs and booze Trying to forget it... But at least his attacker will Never terrorize anyone elses child ever again.... guess the parents and the school system should be asked So Was It Worth It, Ignoring what was happening?.

  • I think if a person Cant raise a Dog to have decent manners that they shouldnt be allowed to breed at all. People you would Think, would think twice before letting their rabid vicious mutts loose in a dog park...But they Dont, and they apply the same Serious Lack of Responsibility and Accountability to their Brats. And then when they get Busted or Killed their parents pull the same stupid stunt- but he seemed so nice before... I just dont know what happened... *rolls eyes* DUH Stupid! You Did.

  • Probably your best video to date, I'm facebooking this, I can tell you from firsthand experience, there is no help for bullied kids short of just becoming scarier than them, or just kicking their ass yourself.

  • haven't seen you uploading any videos for a while! glad to see another video

  • 13:08 it's good to know that people who weren't recently students in modern schools are aware of this.

  • Well said. Wise words.

  • Again, good old common sense,The local army cadet lads and lasses are a great bunch of kids, they have a structure in which they seem to thrive, kids need boundries, they will allways push at them, but positive role models, not some of the d***ks seen on tne TV,who seem to portray actions without any comeback, and yes, we all are influenced by TV,or why do firms pay big money for advertisements? but may be we all have to answer for the state of society.

    ps sorry for the spelling.

  • Children shouldn't watch television and play video games they are tools used by the machine to keep people functioning in their lower mind. It keeps them in the flight or fight mode. This has been scientifically proven.

  • @lema4 Who has this been scientifically proven by? It's not TV and Video games, not that I'm saying these things don't count... We are mostly influenced by the people we grow up with and socialize with.

  • @kinjo79 I agree, videogames sharpen the mind and stimulate aspects of self image, they are no worse than whats on television, they are stress relief, if it weren't for things most people condemn, like videogames, heavy metal, and violent stress relief activities like boxing, or wrestling, there would be a lot more dead bullies, I can assure you.

  • @lema4 Gonna need some citation

  • An excellent overview of the current problems faced by Teachers and Parents. I wholly agree with you. In my view the core of the problem lies within the homes of these children and their relationships with their parents. However, the overall decline of society has a significant impact on Parent/Child interaction and I believe that this stems from decline in the moral fabric/personal responsibilities of our society which has been manipulated and attacked by BIG GOVERNMENT with unethical objectives.

  • The UK spends £xbn on charity already so this isn't actually radical; send kids to build schools in third world countries and in so doing show them just how easy their lives are and have the thing lead by people who have a remit of using pychology to drive home and maximise the message to the kids: your life is easy, stop complicating it for yourself and others. That doesn't deal with the baby boomer's legacy of selfishness that has failed the UK but at least the unemployed ones could go too?

  • I agree with you and I think this law is a very valuable one. In my experience, bullies will prey on a victim because they can do so without consequences and without resistance. Many times, if you stand upto a bully, even if you come off worse, it will deter them.

Unfortunately when I was a boy, being bullied, I would get punished for standing up for myself. I was even threatened with expulsion because I got the better of a bully. Whereas victims need to be supported when they fight back.

  • Corporal punishment, not necessarily in the form of striking the child but something along the lines of pressups or being made to run around the school yard 10 times or so. When I was an Army Cadet, I seen many young lads ranging from late 12 - 15+ who had been fucking around made to run around the parade square at 2am in all manner or weather, and you know what, it works.

Other than that, proper teachers who haven't just been sat at uni and are about as intimidating as an old women,

  • well said sir! Please keep the more insightful videos of YouTube coming!

  • Absolutely right Ritchie, good vid

  • and Wow! I thought UK's system was still on a better discipline system than ours

  • Another great documentary Richie! Keep it up and thank you so much! btw I am still trying to formulate an answer your previous question about whether unarmed is still valid.

btw - whatever your actions in self-defense, the jury will be looking at what a reasonable person of that age would do. Great points on how much different someone looks at that age given a couple of years difference.

  • @762girl There is also a law of self defense called "Disparity of Force" which comes down to you can use a bigger "hammer" if you are weaker, smaller, older than your attacker because of the threat. Many thanks again! p.s. I've been in this situation in Jr. High when a bully held me and a very small knife to my throat in the park.

  • Good video Richie I totally agree with the points you address, all this softie, softie shit in schools and society in general has gone on for too long now and is starting to reap a bad harvest. I'm all for treating people with respect, whatever colour, race sex or creed, but true respect has to be earned and is not instantly granted. To run a country must be a difficult and challenging job I must admit but it seems the politicians have no fucking clue what to do. Radical change is needed fast!

  • good vid mate, and very valid points aswell

  • I am a teacher in the US, and yes it is EXACTLY the same here! We have no authority in the classroom and are not allowed to discipline. We also have issues with parents who try to bully teachers and administrators here. Children are on a pedestal in our societies and we are not allowed to ever give consequences and I agree with you about the issues we are facing. Finally someone else can see things for what they are.

  • Lord of the Flies. I've seen the worst case scenario myself, of which you are aware. We could discuss this for days. I'm a bit too inebriated to expound without sounding like an idiot, but this video was very, very good. Thanks.

  • couldn't agree with you more Richie !

  • i completely agree with you about the education system, worse thing is its no accident

  • Great Video! More of these. If I were an administrator at a school, any infraction after an order from a teacher would yield a 3-day suspension. Any infraction after a suspension within a schoolyear or calendar year would yield a permanent expulsion, and the former students and parents would have no access to school grounds, guarded by security.

  • In agreement with @SamManero. In addition I would say that as adults and parents we HAVE to properly invest in our children. I often think we are the generation that never grew up: we spend too much time on toys and gadgets and computers and we forgot that kids want and NEED to interact with adults, to learn appropriate behaviour and respect. We have to start somewhere. We may not be able to save every kid, but every kid we save is going to be a better adult and make them happier in their life

  • in the U.S. its the same. i just graduated H.S. last year and a majority of the kids were bad as shit. i acctually think that kids here in the U.S. r more disrespectful. we even had those teens and kids that try and fight teachers and sadl enough teachers are being bullied verbally usually by the students......thats absolutley ridiculous

  • Wise words Richard...

    ... and ... just to say :

according to some studie from Belgium, wounded victims from armed agressions die :

    _ 10% from fire arms.

    _ 30% from edge weapons.

    ... ugly world ... =-(

  • The school system is the same way here in America. Teachers not giving a flying fuck! You'd be surprised how responsive they would be if you missed just one day of school (when they call your phone, listen to the tone of their voice, it's as if you were in trouble with the law or something, you miss school and we're getting ACS on you, hell we're pushing for a police investigation as to why you're not showing up) but when a kid gets bullied they just shout their name to put them on the spot.

  • Richie, think of it this way-If our ancestors only hit once and de-escalated after that,we wouldn't be around. That behavior of flight or fight until the threat is gone is what kept the species surviving.Natural Selection

Bulling will always be a part of young people's lives.

Prepare for this if your a parent.Don't wait for the talk after the event.Be aware,Be prepared and Be harsh for any Bullying behavior if your child does it.Ignoring the behavior is just as bad as encouraging it.

  • Wise words, Richard. Same happened to me in my youth. Being bullied is a horrible thing!

  • The more I see, the more I truly believe boys and girls need separate educational systems. The education system is more and more geared towards women. You can see this in the numbers. Boys are doing worse and worse. Less boys are going on to colleges and universities. There is no longer any competition, or discipline or learning from failure and you can SEE it. These used to be virtues that boys were praised for, it's how boys NEED to learn effectively and grow up properly.

  • So wait, there is a higher chance of someone dying because of a knife wound compared to a gun? Thats something weird. People usually expect guns to be more deadly so did i kinda think even though it depends where the wound is made and how bad it is.

  • @whlzdenis That's why they're called statistics.

  • i think the big problem today or atleast the biggest one has got to be the lack of discipline in schools and life in general. kids today know 100% that they can do pretty much anything they like and there will be no real consequences for their actions. ive heard kids say that teachers and parents have no right to touch them. but my view is that in my house i'm the law, not the police not the teachers, me. years ago this was the norm and society was alot safer in general, totally unlike today.

  • @dappadan22 completely agree with you too much freedom and lack of education from school and families.

  • @whlzdenis definitly.

  • Thanks for this.Good thought provoking video. I think your observations about the education system here are true of our society as a whole. Our culture encourages inaction and fear of punishment for taking any action.Teachers afraid of disciplining students, people being treated as criminals for defending themselves at home while waiting for the police to arrive. liberal political correctness hysteria has severely weakened us.

  • Do you think an armed society is a polite society? I'm in Texas right now and can carry my Glock 19 almost anywhere I want. People think twice about robbing, rape, and murder here. It keeps cops in check too. Morals and values is what it comes down too.

  • Haha! chop their fingers off! XD

    anyway. good video man.

Lots of good points in there.

  • I was thinking about this topic recently, and the most occurring problem is the kids saying "I was only joking" or along the lines of that, I concur that disciplinary actions needs to be enforced, though with the current state of children and upbringings in this country, if you don't pay for education, the majority of schools will be shit and you'll only find scum in there.... big disappointment for the bright sparks who have had a good upbringing with parents who know what the to do

  • I agree with you. There must be more discipline in schools,or life general. There are just too many "i can do whatever i want to" kids.System is wrong this days.

  • I agree everything you say in this video 100%!

  • Well said.

  • "please dont share this link with dolts, dullards, knee jerk nuclear reactors or the terminally boorish. " Too funny xD

Thanks for the video Richie, appriciate it. And as always,a great vid ;)
