You've never seen a drumset with a crash and ride cymbal on the same side? You must not see alot of drumsets at all.. Or you see extremley small sets. Ive been drumming for 4 years and I've only ever seen 2 drumsets that DONT have a crash and ride on the same side.. Considering how most drumsets have at least two crashes.. I think you need to widen your variety or drumming.

no. the brains are interchangeable though. so if you have both you can just swap the brains and use it both ways.

@sommers2k8 pads and wires will work, but all you have to do is change brain to ps3 one :D

Yeah the head bobbing will occur until you drum more or you just simply take the time to practice getting rid of it...

I would do that but then I learned a more passive way of hitting on the bass pedal (simply tapping my foot rather than the whole leg pounding on the pedal) and during that process the head bobbing faded away (aka I got rid of it through more drumming).

However, IMHO I think the only way to really play drums is for fun, any other way and your playing a video game...

Damn, that looks confusing as hell to play without lefty flip and playing lefty. I sort of had to relearn a bit to play when I placed my ride to the far right and crash above yellow. I am not playing lefty. But sort of needed to learn that the green was right. But the way yours is set up I'd be getting insanely confused on playing those drum fills in general. Kudos to you man.

Actually I have been working on "Outside" because in that song the snare pad is always designated as the hi-hat. Everlong sometimes the red is the hi-hat and sometimes the red is the snare. So I wouldn't really be able to use the hi-hat all the time :-\
