I am watching and also watching the original. they are pretty damn close to each other in translation. I am kinda shocked. Yamato is what got me into anime at 6 years old.

I was so proud of myself to transfer this to DVD from VHS. Notice the house getting obliterated when the missile is lauched. Based on a graphic novel, way ahead of American times.
