Hopefully you do see them live I saw them live in LA about 2 years ago at the shrine(a very small club), but it was a very amazing performance. They also played this song it was great.

He is Porl Thompson. Thompson is married to Janet Smith, the younger sister of Cure bandmate Robert Smith.

Thompson was part of the original lineup of the Cure, which also included Robert Smith, Michael Dempsey, and Lol Tolhurst when the band was first formed in 1976. ;)
