@the8rey , yes it is MacBook compatible. I think almost any camera is compatible, as long as they have a driver disk for Mac. Most of the time you don't need a disk either.

I love it to death, I don't know if I could live without.

Unfortunatly, my LCD screen just broke yesterday :(

I'm ordering a new one, ughh.

I did have to send it in once before, but it was still under warranty.

I dropped it and the lens got stuck, this seems to happen pretty often with these cameras, I guess.

But it hasn't happened to mine since, and I really do love this camera.

I have it in pink!

the sony pro duo memory stick has an included adapter so, just remove the ms from the camera, put it in the adapter and insert into your computer slot.

note: there are slots to insert the adapters in some laptops labeled with the type of memory stick adapter that can be taken in. but, i highly recommend the usb method because the adapter method is an alternate.

sony's got the perfect video format for windows movie maker compared to canon's avi and lumix's mov. great mpeg video format when converted into wmv format. the only thing i hate about this cam is the flimsy door and is also lacking image stability feature. i'm thinkin of gettin the W300 for a change.

Is this camera compatible with a Sandisk SD Card (not pro duo or anything like that, just 2GB)? Or does it have to be a Sony card? Just wondering...the Sandisk cards are waay cheaper. Awesome review! I am totally convinced and I'm saving up for it now =D

You can only use memory sticks. SD cards aren't compatible, so, you'll need to buy memory sticks, which are a bit more expensive than SD cards.

It can most definitely get some footage without hassle. When I first got it, I thought it was fantastic. Yet, now having a good camcorder, of course the film quality isn't up to par, but it's fine for skate videos.

the videos I filmed that are on youtubeb right now was filmed on standard quality, and my 1gb memory stick could hold about 45 minutes of video, which is amazing. the FINE version, which i wasn't aware of until a couple days ago, is super good, even better than the great quality on my current youtube videos, but can only hold about 13 minutes. i stick with standard :D

fingerprints aren't really a problem because i bought a nintendo ds screen protector (they are the same size screens) which somehow minimizes the appearance of fingerprints. good luck with your camera, i hope you have as much fun with yours as i do with mine

Nice cam! I got a Cybershot DSC-N1 last year, and I use it to make my videos; it has a 3 inch TOUCHSCREEN and is the same size as your camera! I am really happy with it (even though it burned a massive hole in my pocket), video is great, and I'm sure you'll be very happy with your camera; Sony cameras are very nice. I would definitely recommend getting a tripod (a $20 one is very accommodating) for your camera if you plan on using it to shoot videos
