you know what the bmw is to much money about 18 or 19000 euro give me a brand new suzuki for a 10 000 euro there it is more money beter performance stop talking this shit bmw is good but the gsxr is also very good for the price you pay

i have a 202rwhp suzuki gsx-r 1000 K5 why don`t you try that one LOLOLOLOL!!! it kills BMW by far far and FAR.. But it also almost killed me so now i am going for a much slower bike a BMW s1000rr LOL... Yes I`ve tried the bmw in the summer.. much more control on power..we raced the new hayabusa vs bmw vs zzr1400 vs zx12r vs k7 vs k5 ALL STOCK and the bmw destroyed everything the suzuki K5 was closest of them all up to 280kph but then that was gone as well=))

@FireStorm4056 hehe NO maybe with some ram air.. but you are around 190-195rwhp @ least our dyno run, in our country.. But i had 34rwhp more then the BMW between 4000-8000rpm LOL so therefor the bmw was actually slow compared to mine... anyway i look forward to a more safe bike LOL... the bmw in OUR country did weigh 209,5kg in average and my K5 is 187,5 fully fueled so you can do the math...

I hate saying but I figured this would happen. Close to 210hp BMW s1000 to a 176hp gsxr 1000. You can't expect to gain 34 hp with an exhaust. Maybe 7 if it's a full exhaust. I have a k7 1000 with every performance mod available. Pcv auto tune, Xtre, BMW race filter. Full yosh exhaust and a few others 201 motor. So still not close. And new 2012 gsxr 1000 was worthless too. 186hp? Fail. Meveryone is pushing over 200 with the 1000 these days come on Suzuki.

i have a k9 gsxr and havent raced a s1000r but i know they are fast but something is wrong with this vid theres either a lack of skill or maybe something wrong with the gsxr or maybe itis gear extra low

You are al free to have yours

But bmw is a lot more expensive..

So with that money you can tune a new gsxr 1000 with a full exhaust line and power commander !

AND from that moment , the gsxr wil be superior and stil be al litlle cheaper !

But anyway , Im happy for suzuki to have some concurency !

Because That wil only improve the 2012 Gsxr 1000 !

i know the gsxr is slower (and i own a k5 gix1000) but the gsxr rider was hitting the rev limiter every gear, while the bmw had a power shifter not exacly fair

87 pounds bmw s1000rr

the pilot and the weight, not much of a difference

@ekambar1 i got 2011gsxr 1000 it much better bottom and topend hit than my 07 gsxr when both stock, so i will put full 2 brothers exhaust it get 15.8 hp at 13200 rpm that what website show me proof also i will get head work port to make same power as your bmw then we will see who win, if in 1-3 gears my bike will jump away if same hp, so my friend have same stock bmw so i will up date video with my bike and his bike, bot dead stock i know he will beat me so after mods i will see :) :)

Believe me, I tried with full Suzuki and BMW won the

change the gearing a little and the gsxr will kill your bmw

and visa versa

Who knows that did happend to the bmw for this race ....

And if you change the FULL exhaust system of the gsxr 1000 and get a powercommander..

then it should be around 206 hp !

And It would have kicked german ass !

but anyway , whats the use..

In the end its the driver who makes a difference

The bmw is more expensive !

YOu wil save a few 1000 bucks if you buy the gsxr 1000

and with that money you cant tune its engine (exhaust , powercommander , air filter etc )

and only THEN , when you get to the same price of the bikes !!

Then you can compare !!

and believe me , the gsxr will win ;)

@TheDeltabird Yes, I'm sure a fully modified gsxr can beat a stock bmw. As I'm sure any fully modified motorcycle can lololol go fully modified bmw and fully modified gsxr and the results will be the same. I personally don't care for either brand as I love my hondas but at least try to make a decent comparison.

i have a k5 1000 and my friend struggles to keep up on the twisty stuff.....on his s1000r with all its anti wheelie/ traction control/ quickshifer and lack of midrange grunt!. apart from blasting down the motorway which isnt a s1000r terirory, were its king of the horsepower! bring back a MANS bike please
