There have been a handful of different theories regarding which king brought which gift. In this case, it looks like the gold was from Melchior, the frankinsence from Balthasar, and the myrrh from Gaspar.

I posted a comment about JOseph on the part 8 clip but it fits here too because the scene continued. I said I like how this movie expands upon Joseph character more. This portrayal shows the kind of man he was. I cant help but wonder what Joseph's thoughts and feelings were about being the earthly father of God's child and this movie really does show that. I loved his reaction at the baby's birth. He was so happy.
the wisemen did not actually come until jesus was two years old and no longer stayed in a manger the reason the wisemen didnt come until he was two was because he it took them that long to travel.
17 purplequeen their is only one story in the bible about Jesus as a kid/teen he was most likely around 12 or 13 in the story and it was mary and joesph couldnt find Jesus so they began to look for him they found him worshiping in the temple that pretty much sums it up in a nut shell
@secrethearts121 one of my teachers told me that the Bible was made by a group of men like a long time ago and there were many books written. those men chose the books in the Bible so that they wouldnt be contradicting. he said if you look it up you can find those books.....maybe we can find something about Jesus there.......idk if it true
everytime i watch this movie near the end i get goosebump, i love this movie.
but what i never got was we see how his born and what he did when he was older. but what did happen to him when he was a kid and a teenager. someone clue me in
Scripture says that the wise men were warned in a dream by God that they should not have returned to Herod...Matthew 2:12. Just wanted to clear that last part up bc it seemed that the 1st wise man to speak just had a feeling about not going to tell....IT WAS ALL GOD!!! Loved every part of this thus far......ok on to 10/10. :)

The whole scene with the baby pressing, being born and the nativity scene always makes me cry and gives me chills
