The Shield - An example of how Television SHOULD be: Dark, surprising with twists at each angle, it doesn't preach this "We are the World" bullshit, it instead showcases the inner conflicts people deal with daily. To put it simply, one of the absolute best shows ever.

I hated vic, he basically destroys lem, shane and ronnie, and the last conversation he has with shane and the way he sells out ronnie are unbelievable, Because he's a hardman etc and because of how well played he is people tend to like Vic, but i think at the end you see him for what he is ( i also think the best acted role on the shield is Shane- heartbreakingly convincing)

i just love this show i love vic,ronny and lem. i stopped loving shane after he killed lem and altough vic betrayed ronny i still adore him i dont why altough it is unforgivable ronny was loyal till the end. i hope in the last scene when vic takes his gun he is on his way to rescue ronny

my favourite was always shane; the actor, walton goggings, did a beautiful job, he really made shane seem human instead of just mean. i didn't like vic and ronnie after lem's death; i loved lem but it WAS understandable, why shane would think lem might sell them all out. anyway, to stop ranting: this show was the best show ever to come from america and while the ending was pretty much perfect, it was so painful ive never watched the entire season 7 again.

NO! It was a bit understandable, but not completely. He shouldn't have killed Lem without checking with Vic. Vic wouldn't have murdered Terry without making sure Shane was ok with it, right? I loved Lem, and what Shane did was completely idiotic.

Yeah I guess you're right, but still, I didn't like the way Vic acted afterwards, because shane did try to apologize and was obviously distraught. anyway, i love how people still care enough about this show to have discussions over youtube about it. it was so, so good!

You are right about that. I had been making a video that chronicled Shane killing Lem, and then the inward struggle he had upon doing that, and it earned me some understanding of why he did what he did. But, Youtube wouldn't let me post it, so it'll neevr see the light of day.

You always have the best Shield videos!!!! At first I wasn't sure about the song, but it really fit too! Awesome! 10 out of 5!! I reaaallly like that opening scene too! In Season 3 there's a scene when Shane had a suspect shoot at him and Vic ends up cutting him a deal, and Shane says "Maybe next time I'll catch that bullet and you can lay it all at my doorstep." It's like Shawn Ryan wrote all 7 seasons in one sit down!
