@purisonia this is a form of sufi 'raqs' originated in turkey by followers of famous turkish poet and islamic theolgian Rumi..and its called as 'whirling dervishes' ....dervish means a person who follows sufism...and this whirling isn't a dance but its a form of 'zikr' or remmebering 'Allah' in a trance like state and it also goes back to Rumi who once started to whirl or turn in happiness after hearning Allah's zikr
