  • I just buy a camcorder, this model but my computer with windows 7 don't work.

I missing the software and the sony web page dont have how can I get it?

  • Please, help me! Where is possible download the drivers for this camera? I have try through Sony web site but they don`t get the drivers(SIC).

  • I have 2 now. my main one doesnt want to charge anymore. I had to buy another one only due to the fact my editing software likes the model. So I use my "new" one only to charge.I'm looking for wide lens. do you know any?

  • I tried two camcorders but the firewire never appears, I didn't think you needed extra drivers in xp.

  • my camera is exactly like yours but it doesnt work on my computer, im running vista and it says on sonys and microsofts website that the DCR HC36 is compatible... so yeah :( plz help me thx

  • Cant you contact Sony??

  • can you plz help me! i have the exact same camera but when i put it in play/edit my pc says to install drivers. first off sonys website says my camera is sposed to be compatible and the drivers should be in windows xp/windows vista yet i cant use it still... im not sure if its my pc but can you plz help me, thx

  • I just plug it in with a firewire cable & it works without any extra fuss. I have no idea what to tell you really. I do not have vista. I have used it on my pc with windows XP. But now I use it on an iMAC.

I never installed any extra drivers or software.

All i do is plug in the camera with the firewire cable & turn on the camera's power. It works as easy as that.

  • thx, im gonna look up the fire wire stuff

sorry i double posted because it wouldnt show my post so i just kinda gave up

  • I have comment approval on, that's why you didn't see the comment ;)

Hopefully you can get it to work. Maybe it's a Vista thing. Some people have all kinds of troubles with Vista. But who knows!

  • oh lulz ;D

yeah i need a i-someting cable and yeah, vista does suck lol thx

  • u r so nice here

  • Any reason why you have the camera mounted above you pointing down at you? Thanks.

  • Its on a tripod, and that's the lowest It goes & its in the only location i can put it at the moment.

Also, shooting down at an angle makes your face look thinner. ;p

  • Thanks for the tip. I love your videos BTW.

  • Your Hot.

  • I <3 SONY

We've got a SONY digital camera and video camera ... I luvs 'em both! Good quality stuff.

  • Aprille, your hair looks gorgeous in this video! Love the color! Does you hair knot easily? My hair's really thick and long like yours but I can't get volume because it's so long & heavy, how do you get your hair to look so nice?

  • If you mean tangles, no. But I do find lots of knots in individual strands! Must be the hair faeries tying knots strand by strand! LOL It's weird.

Immediately after I have washed & dried my hair I tie it up tight in a bun on the top of my head & leave it that way several hours - the longer the better. When i take it down the roots have volume from being tied upwards, and the length has lots of wavy curl from the bun!

I also have it cut in long layers - that really helps with adding volume!

  • Now other than how good your hair looks, I'll juat comment that Sony generally seems to make pretty good cameras/camcorders. I have Somy cybershot camera, but the video it takes is quite impressive and I love the audio quality on it. It's amazing what it picks up!!

  • yup, the red in your hair looks really good!

  • T = Tele

    W = Wide

  • Yeah, that's it ;p I had one of those ditsy moments! LOL

  • cool!! i noticed you have fishys, i need to get a new camera too, i have a panosonic its not so good.

  • Yea I was wondering about your hair also, have you not colored it since you did the color removal vids? Its a very pretty color right now, if you have colored it whar did you use?

  • I used an ash blond permanent dye with 30 volume developer from Sally's, which just made it a hint more RED (LOL). Then i used ColorFix again & it came out like this.

  • I just love your hair.
