This is very interesting and well done. It's hard to believe she is playing all the guitar here because it actually sounds as if there is a bassist mixed in, but its all here. Also, his drumming is excellent and he really is doing an excellent job in going with what she is doing on the guitars. They are really tight for only being two people.
@TheDeev That'll be because there is bass on the track. Listen to the section starting at 1:49 and you'll hear the bass part ringing out whilst the guitar is played over the top, plus loads of string noise between each note change.
I don't care her voice is soft either- standing in front of her when she is singing, in front of a massive wall of amps- and she turns her foot in a little, all little girllike, in strange contrast to her persona.. is sexy~

There latest album 'Throned in Blood' is their first to capture the essence of their live show. @honeyshot905 I've seen this band live twice in the late 90's and in '05. You are right they sound different onstage. Here they are ok and live they suck. The drummer is killer but the girl cannot sing or play and a huge wall of amps will never cover up this fact. Stick w/ bands that can play a la Melvins, Fu Manchu, Clutch, Nebula, etc.

A 3-piece band is VERY RARE (one of the best "krisiun" death metal band) but TWO? WOW, kinda white stripes-esque in that regard.
The song is catchy her vocals are haunting at times and appropriate but it could've been so much better if she could have changed it up at times.
This is a nice stoner rock/sludge metal kinda band.

I think people bash it because they are traditional metal heads and it's out of their comfort zone because it sounds too "pop", when really they just don't like the sound of females singing. If this was labeled as grunge or alternative they would be much more praised.

@cortarelva I don't think anyone is complaining how the singer looks mate, she looks fine... she just doesn't sound fine. People are probably bashing on the song because it is boring and shit. No denying that there is some sort of broad image that is an underlying part of heavy music. However the best metal bands around are probably the least image conscious. I think you are a little confused, this band clearly rely alot on their image more than most... No one would watch this without the hotty.

@honeyshot905 I've seen this band live twice in the late 90's and in '05. You are right they sound different onstage. Here they are ok and live they suck. The drummer is killer but the girl cannot sing or play and a huge wall of amps will never cover up this fact. Stick w/ bands that can play a la Melvins, Fu Manchu, Clutch, Nebula, etc.
