on the PSP GO the only way to legally have games is through an internet connection

to get free games you will need to register your new psp go and download a rewards theme from the rewards section in the PSN store and if that is successful you will get a email in a few days with your code which you enter into the PSN store and enter the code and then you can downlload one of three games which are, Motorstorm Arctic Edge, Gran Turismo PSP and Assassins Creed, i recommend Motorstorm but its your choice, if you have any problems just message me.

The only time I have experienced this is when I downloaded GT PSP data from Qore and tried to start it but never with a game, check if the size is right but if that doesn't work try downloading it on a PS3 or media go then transfer it over and see what happens.
