i saw these folks the other day, every member of the band blowing me away. there's something about this bassist...really enjoyed hearing her. she's got a lot of life ahead of her, it'll be interesting to see what happens. this lines got quite the attitude, ay? i get the feeling she can sing for some reason..i'm not sure why.

Yep, that's Minnemann all right. This was actually only his first or second show with the band. They then went on to do short tours in Japan and South America, and are now in the midst of a European tour. There are some really good vids here on youtube from some of the S.A. shows: Try searching "Adrian Belew Power Trio" and sort the results by upload date.

Great vid, thanks! This is the first I've seen from the Vancouver show.

The Adrian Belew Power Trio has a couple of live albums out, plus the (amazing) studio album "e," all with Julie's brother Eric on drums. (Marco is on drums now while Eric tours with Dr. Dog.) For more Julie Slick outside ABPT, check out her live album with the band "Paper Cat" and her new solo CD. All awesome stuff!
