i still have there albums and listen all the time, they were great and never made it as big as the deserved, at 16 i played there tapes in my tr-6 on dates and got lucky every time,,,
@yahoo.com I loved the Rockets! Kick A## Michigan rockin bluesy/ballzy goodtime rock & roll. Would love to get some CD's of them. My albums are long gone.
is there any dave gilbert with the rockets live concrt footage anywere?the rockets were awsome?were gonna rock how about you is a great song to by the look
i live in new haven..play a great acoustic all the classics and hillbilly rockstar stuff. a duo can make waaay more than a band, really and nearly no gear...plus if you want to do it in miami for couple weeks here and there i can take you. playing poolside and tiki bars..just beatles, kenny chesney stuff. when you decide to do it JUST for the money contact me jimmy
The guy with the deep voice is Dave Edwards of the Look. The Look were quite popular in Detroit in the 80's. Great voice and rockin' band. Dave Gilbert was Detroit's answer to Robert Plant. The Rockets Rocked!
Been looking for some Rockets video for awhile, was surprised to find this! I saw them twice in Lansing, one of my fav bands. Where can I find the Rockets Midnight Special clip?
I saw the Rockets several times- at Pine knob, Adrian College, opening for John Cougar Mellencamp, and the Rockets stole the whole show!Dave Gilbert and Jim McCarty were super talented people. I also loved Adrenalin with David Gilbert's brother as lead singer.May Dave rest in peace knowing that he isn't forgotten.

suck it.
Thanks for the memory Dave.
Saw your set last night at Boomer's and had a blast! Love the Gilbert footage. He was all rockstar in my book and always brought that
joy out on stage. Thanks again.
