@jejuneraccoon Glad you like the tips on how to pack your luggage. No matter if you're going on a big or small trips, you can always use containers to organize!
@PreciouzPearl Yeah, it was a lot of clothing but it was for me and my daughter and we had to live out of it for 2 months! You can still organize like this on a smaller scale.
@MegaAnimegirl21 Sorry I didn't relply to you earlier. I got the bag as a gift from a friend but Container Store has a lot of nice toiletry bags that are just as effiicient. You might want to check Amazon.com too.
@Young7Money Sorry it took me so long to reply. You can get the boxes at IKEA in the bedroom/dressers department. It comes in a pack of six boxes that are folded flat. They're pretty cool because you simply zip up the bottom to form a box or unzip it to fold flat again. Now, if you can't find them, there are other things you can use to get the same result: cardboard boxes, gallon ziploc bags, or Eagle Creek luggage bags from the Container Store. The whole idea is to keep like items together!
This was such a great tip! The best I've found on Youtube. I love your method and hope to apply it for a month long trip I am going on in a few weeks. Absolutely revolutionized my packing methods :)
@yourheartsmelody So glad to hear it!!! Packing this way really makes a difference....especially on long trips. Best of luck to you and hope you have a safe...and organized...trip ;o)
@DorkiiPanda18 these boxes really come in handy on long trips. But you can use other things like ziploc baggies and space saver bags to separate your items in your luggage. It's all about keeping your "like" items "contained" so they're not shuffling all over the place in your luggage. Thanks for the comment!!!
@LynnWhite333 Glad you liked the tip! I used boxes because this was a long trip and they kept everything organized. You could do the same thing on shorter trips with ziplocs or small bags to keep everything separated. The key is to keep like items together...and then to contain them (electronics in one bag, toiletries in another, jewelry in another and underwear in yet another bag and so on). Thanks for your comment!
I got these drawer storage cubes at IKEA. What's cool is that they can unzip and fold down when not in use. They come in a pack of 8 (I think) and were less than $10.
That sooooooooooo wayyyy brilliant. I'm definitely going to give this go. Thanks a heap :)))
