@7h0p0r That is bang on the money. I have a Ford XR6 sports sedan and I have a Suzuki Hayabusa. Both have reasonably high speedometers, 260kph for car and 300kph for bike. But I would only ever dare attempt to reach top speed in one of those two machines. Hint, it doesn't have seatbelts, traction control, airbags, fog lights or even ABS. But it feels far safer when travelling at what you might call fun speeds.

P.S. Hayabusa top speeds: 296kph stock, 327kph derestricted, 359kph geared right

Radical SR3 is faster than the atom on the straight due to the suzuki bike engine. but cornering the atom handles better.

The difference is your car was at least designed with most of that stuff already installed to begin The atom wasn't designed with any of the options I mentioned at all. The atom can not be compared with any other car because it's not a real car. It wasn't at all designed for every day use.

LoL, never gonna happen! the atom is altraddy expensive enough as it is. Most of the reason it is so quick is because it is so light and because of that it has a smaller engine. start adding all the creature comforts and standard options and you are gonna increase the cars weight by at least 1000 pounds. after that your gonnna need a bigger engine.

Although Jeremys true supercars are fast, they'll most likely always be beaten on track by cars purposely built for track-days, which is why you'll rarely ever see a Lamborghini or Ferrari on a race track outside of their protective members only club.

Who built his car? hmm McLaren and Mercedes what is a super car the Mercedes McLaren SLR. Who makes the 599? Ferrari. Who has made the F1 car that has competed in every season, and holds the record for most titles? Scuderia Ferrari. Obviously the 599 and SLR are street so you can enjoy it every day those race cars would be horible to drive everyday

True, but I was referring to road legal production cars - the only Porsche's and Ferrari's that come close to beating a top of the range Radical are not road legal, unlike most Radicals, are not standard production vehicles, and cost more than the average house price in the UK.

Got to agree with rabbibunny's comments, think he's got it spot on. Basically the radical is designed entirely to perform on track with less compromises than most other cars - hence it does the track stuff better and the ferrari does the run to the shops and picking up girls better.

I've had a radical for about a year now and in all honesty it has not stopped surprising me, I seriously doubt most non-track specials could compete.

and the basic model is 24th with 7:42

which is still quicker than a Pagani Zonda C12S or a Porsche 996 GT3 RS :)
