i saw belle and sebastian at the reading festival 2007 in england. fucking stunning. they didnt need to rip it up; people actually stood still to listen and atke everything in. brilliant band. amazing

Indeed, dude! World-class songwriting-abilities,nice stories like The Kinks, melodies you can whistle and recognize immediately, and what is more than seldom - an own SOUND like Glenn Miller, Bert Kaempfert, Led Zeppelin. To me an absolutely outstanding band!

I remember taping their first ever radio 1 session. Mark Lamar was sitting in for i think mark and lard or peel...they left the studio and charged up to where lamar (who had been a bit rude to them) and threw a recorder at him and dissed his hair cut - classic.
