HI what kind of equipment u are using? what kind of stuff u stoping algae growing? before u put new live rocks from the pet store right u must remove all the organism on the rock before u put them in the tank is that true and is that true to stop algae growing as well?
not exactly true, however always an idea to quaranteen rock to check for unwanted hitchikers. Good flow, phos remover, water quality, regular changes and correct feeding and stocking are the ideal ways to keep algae under control.
