The car was designed for an 8.2, but was produced with a slightly smaller 7.0 liter engine instead.

@dwnrety1 put all that on a V8, you got more than 420 to the ground.....your talking apple to oranges. the fast 4 cylinder cars have stuff added on like turbos and stuff to compete with muscle cars. you are comparing a type of car to another type of car. not engine to engine. that F4 only makes like 150hp alone. and the average V8 is about 300-340hp
its not really apples to organges their both internal combustion engines.. its more like comparing apples to apples...
theres tons of different varieties of apples and tons of different varieties of engines too.. L4, H4, L6, V6, H6, V8, V10, V12, W16, L16(ships), single cylinder, Vtwin then theres different variations of a few of them like DOHC or SOHC, N/A or Forced Induction, 2stroke and 4 stroke... and then theres a diesel counterpart of pretty much each one...
and ofcourse the more cylinders you have the more hp/tq your gonna make... -not rocket science 4 cyl. anywhere from 20-180, V8 100-500hp but anyway the point i was originally trying to make is no matter how many cyinders you have *1,2,3,4,8* you can make a pretty impressive amount of power out of it..

its not really apples to organges their both internal combustion engines.. its more like comparing apples to apples...
theres tons of different varieties of apples and tons of different varieties of engines too.. L4, H4, L6, V6, H6, V8, V10, V12, W16, L16(ships), single cylinder, Vtwin then theres different variations of a few of them like DOHC or SOHC, N/A or Forced Induction, 2stroke and 4 stroke... and then theres a diesel counterpart of pretty much each one...

and ofcourse the more cylinders you have the more hp/tq your gonna make... -not rocket science 4 cyl. anywhere from 20-180, V8 100-500hp but anyway the point i was originally trying to make is no matter how many cyinders you have *1,2,3,4,8* you can make a pretty impressive amount of power out of it..
saying that a 8cyl is superior to a 4cyl is like saying that diesel v8s are garbage compared to gasoline powered v8s because they normally need a turbo -it doesnt make sense..

dude, i know all the stuff that can be done. you said "4cyls CAN make as much as an AVERAGE V8 can." yeah and V8s CAN make as much as an average W16 can. you are comparing a modded engine with less cylinders to a stock engine with more cylinders....apples to oranges. but a 500HP V8 will have way more torque than a 500HP I4. its not ONLY about the HP. i understand what you are saying tho but its a never ending arguement and it is on youtube a million and one times.

@sick02GtVert dude, i was the one talking about the V8. learn to read. i have owned 8 vehicles and only one was a 4cylinder and it was a ford ranger. ive probably had more V8s than you....had one 4cyl, four V6s and three V8s. one V8 was a 96 trans am. other 2 were trucks. and my 08 V6 f150 has beaten every V8 truck i have put it against. including two 08 5.3L silverados but in their defense they were both 4x4. mine is 2wd

While the woman and oldest child received only minor injuries, the youngest child was killed. The teenagers and their friends didn't seem to care.
