Hi Terry and thank you! I like no. 2 Prelude a lot too. But my hands are small and I can't reach the LH wide stretches without jumping them. Sounds ok to me, but probably not to anybody else.
Thanks for those video links too. That Gershwin recording is indeed very beautiful. Makes me want to start on some more Gershwin right away. And Holy Cow to that Mozart! Never heard it like that before!!! haha
Have a nice Florida weekend - we're actually having 70-degree temps currently! Nice!
Shocking to contemplate 70 F in November unless you are inside The Hancock Building!! And wearing one of Andreas's nice sweaters! : ) He's the Cosby of the piano world! Quel dommage re Prel #2, but i think more Gershwin is heading our way from Chicago! : )

Thank you, Daniel. Yes, your senses are accurate - a lot of relief at the end! lol
(and breathing too - I tend to hold my breath when I'm playing something hard)

I never liked Gershwin, but the only thing I had heard is the Rhapsody in Blue.
This one I liked very much!
Congratulations!

Thank you, Felipe!
There's so much great Gershwin music. Maybe listen to some more - I bet you'd find other pieces you like!

"Yess!" I absolutely love your honest relief at the end!
Hey, congratulations on this very nice, truly ambitious,
performance. You have much to be proud of here!
And I do hope you will play the 2nd prelude! It's perhaps my favorite Gershwin piece -- and I really enjoy nearly all of his work. Best wishes, ~Terry
