I simply can't get over how good a voice Patricia has, she has such a rich contralto voice. I loved her in this production but I ache to see her take on one of the G&S contralto roles, she would make a fine Katisha!

Its available on DVD. The Beggars Opera with Roger Daltrey and Bob Hoskins from 1983, by Image Entertainment. Just google beggars opera dvd and you will find it. I love Patricia Rutledge performance. Loved her in Keeping Up Appearances.

I saw Patricia Routlege 1962 in the musical "Little Mary Sunshine" at the Comedy theatre londons West End.

Been a fan ever since, love her!
