@ghostsaregreat713 I went to the LACMA and i saw they were playing Hansle and Gretel but i wasn't able to stay because my group was yelling at me to keep moving... DX so dissapointing
Am I the only one that pictured young Tim Burton dressed all in black, standing on the beach and standing underneath an umbrella? lol. It's awesome to see early stuff that he's done.
Yeah I was at the MOMA exhibit too, but I didn't get to see this OR Hansel and Gretel while I was there, though I saw it playing plain as day I didn't get up close to watch either one. Which really pisses me off now that I know that Hansel and Gretel is virtually impossible to see anywhere...then again it was so hot in that place it was hard to think straight.
The guy who plays Kahuna ("I wanna be known by my real name! Vladimir Moonface, Jr!") was my professor at SCAD a few times, and he showed us this near the end of the quarter. Happy to say he was an awesome guy IRL, I learned a lot from him and he was probably one of my favorite professors.
I went to the Moma yesterday to see Burton's work. I had the best time every going to a museum...The only thing is everyone plus myself were walking around fanning themselves because it was packed and the temp was kinda warm. A kittle to warm for a museum I think. Never the less I loved it and I enjoy Burton's work. ^.^
I just came back from the Tim Burton exhibit at MoMA - this was definitely one of the more interesting things that was shown there... the other was his Hansel and Gretel film, which I can't seem to find anywhere ^.^;;;
Yes! Thank you! My mom plays Princess Yakamoshi and she used to have a tape of this but lost it. I've been wanting a way to see it again; thank you so much!
I got to see some of this at MoMA today, I can't beleive it's here!!! I wanted to see the rest so bad! Thank you! Do you have his Hansel and Gretel? Put that up too it would be AMAZING to watch it again
THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! My best friend in hi.sch. was sean young (his dad is Kahuna) and we watched this on his birthday at his house in 16MM. I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS SINCE 1983 AND COULD FIND IT NOWHERE!! THXTHXTHX!!!
