@MoJaSa15 From what I've seen, mecanum wheels wheels (or any omniwheel) will not have enough power to go over the ramps or resist being pushed around by robots. If your team's strategy involves a lot of mobility, then go with mecanum wheels (and make sure your drivers practice driving it!). If you want to be more defensive, go with a tank drive with REALLY heavy-duty treads.
I was just brainstorming ideas for the game and I saw pile of wood panels up the street. So I took my measuring tape and head out to measure pieces, sadly noon of the pieces were the correct size. As for the robot, I have a few the old FRC Robot Controllers and Operator Interface. And a KITBot Chassis already built. Also a Gear Box from a past robot, I was going to make a quick robot out of that and test out ideas at home. Tape it and show the team. But I can wait until our team meeting tonight.
Hey, I got a question, what if the goals are filled up with balls, and how will the person with the trident be able to juggle all the balls coming at once from both goals?
Miss it and wish I had a team to be with. Looks like a great game... Makes me miss the multipliers like it used to be, robot hanging doubled the score, 2 did a multiplier of 4... ohh the fun of trying to do the math in the stands to see who won...
This is definitely going to be interesting this year. Im a junior and this is definitely the best challenge of the the three years i have been competing. Team 57

@Frowny i guess the human player will just have to be fast.. or there might be a rule where they can only have one ball at a time with them
