I had been a DW fan since about this time. I miss that kind of racing so much. All that being said I'm not one of those people thats anti NASCAR the way some fans seem to be. It's racing and I love racing and a know things change. When DW retired I was lost and bored with it for awhile but I started watching this Young guy named Jimmie Johnson and the rest is of course history. Was NASCAR better back then? Yeah it was but in many ways but I like the idea that it's getting more respect now too.
I'm amazed...This is the first NASCAR race I attended when I was 13. We were in the infield. There was soooo much craziness going on I hardly remember watching much of the race. There were TITS, TITS, and more TITS!!!
DW wasn't running his mouth back then. He is if not one of the great's ever and he had a good car and team. I don't like gordon or busch brothers or jimmi but i respect what they have done.
