  • Does anyone know how to take an existing tinted image and make the tint darker? I've spent 4 hours trying to figure it out.

I'm using it as a background for text on a website. The site has a photo background already - I just want to take this transparent image that came with the them and make it darker so my copy shows better on the background.

    I'm using elements 9.

This is just a solid plain tinted transparent image that repeats to be clear

    Any help is greatly appreciated

  • Thanks! I was looking online for the past 30 minutes, and just found a bunch of nonesense. You are the only person who seems to know what they are doing. Hah

  • @domassan Nope... It doesnt :P

  • @frejgun yea it does! Big Time!

  • @XxSocialTechxX Do you own a mac?

Because you are probably some 13 year old kid, who never tryed a mac.

    - And while were at it you probably didnt even buy Photoshop, you just downloaded it illegally. Sad.

  • @frejgun I used to have a mac. It messed up so i got a laptop with Xp

  • @XxSocialTechxX ...

How can you possibly mess a mac up.. that's almost not even possible.

    - You really must be Retarded.

  • @frejgun LOL i really don't know. That was the first time i ever messed up a mac

  • @XxSocialTechxX .. Lol :D

  • @frejgun who pays like 2000 bucks for a program

  • @youzzzef $699 - get a job, welfare won't get you this program.

  • @Wtfdevin hhahha , its just plain stupid to buy it anyways , and im 16 and i do have a job ;) so know your facts before you critisize people

  • Thanks a MILLION! I'm grateful for this clear instructional video.

  • Thanks so much I have been trying to do this for ages

  • If you save the image with the deleted background go to save for web and devices and then save as a png 24 file with the transparency mode check it will save the transparency so that when you import image into other programs like illustrator or other psd files it will still have a transparent background.

  • If you got windows and want the deskop lined up like that, then just google rocketduck.

  • kinda off topic, but how did you get your desktop icons all lined up like that at the bottom of the screen? ive seen a few people with it and I have to have it.

  • @SquishBeats He has a Macintosh computer. Not a PC With Windows. If you want that you need windows 7, or a Mac.
