  • We play music, have a parade, get drunk . . . then lose the game.

  • Has anyone else noticed they're playing the Wearin' O' The Green??

  • Typical Irish and Plastic Paddie Yanks ripping off Scottish native culture.

  • Minstreal Boy my favorite!

  • OK, it really bothers me that this fall I will be looking to join that pipe band (only one near by) but the tempo I currently play the minstrel boy at is no where near that fast.

"The Minstrel Boy to the war is gone

In the ranks of death you will find him;" is how the lyrics to this tune begin. Clearly, the tempo they are preforming at is not fitting for the tune.

  • this is their version of the song, its called "scootstrel." its more hip, so to speak.

  • I agree with bubbapiper, the drums are playing about twice as fast as they should. Are they running to put out a fire someplace?

  • Its ok but i assume it is marchaing band snares playing this... therefore americanizing the hell out of a scottish snare drum

  • no those are premiere snare drums... (100% pipe not marching) by the way... notre dame uses yamaha mts snare drums not premiere!

  • this is badass i think i was just at notre dame over the weekend and got to see itin person nds defense was desent but it took there offense a lil bit to warm up butthey atleast won there first home game ---LETS GO IRISH----

  • Pretty decent drummers, but why can't they learn the Scottish drumming format? That DCI style just doesn't jive with the pipes.

  • fuck u you fairweather trojan fan

  • What really sad is, USC fans memory only goes back as far as the signing of Pete Carrol.

  • Typical USC fan.

  • oh mickey your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind, hey mickey lmao

  • 38-0.

  • the rowan tree, a scottish tune!

  • Minstrel Boy, Wearing of the Green. Not a single Scottish tune played in that set.

  • Later that same day, the so-called "Fighting Irish" were humiliated by the USC Trojans, 38-0.

  • im going to be in this band as a freshman next year!

  • I'm a USC/Notre Dame fan and I have trouble every year because I know one of my teams is going to lose. But one day Notre Dame will be back and you will hear these bagpipes leading the way for the Irish! Thanks for the video.
