no wi-fi is free but you need to have a router from or phone plan provider. Or you can do what I do I have a wi-fi nintendo usb connector and I just plug it into the slot of my computer but there can be connection errors so you have to restart your computer and do a bunch of crap. But if you don't plan on buying a router then I would do the "Plug into my computer" thingy that I mentioned :)

I think the USB Wi-Fi connectors were discontinued. Your best bet, like I did, would be to buy a router connected between your modem and computer to connected to Wi-Fi.

Probably the best and most reliable one (the one I have as well) would be the Linksys WRT54G. It's not real expensive either.
