It was a pain in the ass to get all those items, TBC was really good and something wow needed because it was the same quests since beta of Wow but when TBC came out every legendary item lost their "Unique feeling". It was not that cool anymore to see someone with epics or with Thunderfury and those with tier 3 had big respect!

I so wish that Blizzard re-thought the idea of vanilla servers. Just a Poll for the patch people want and leave it at that. They fixed bugs in vanilla anyway so whats the worst that could happen?

@DarkBoneFTW that people would play it for a month and stop, also reputting all of the old patch notes etc from pre bc, its a big amount of work, also deleting all the lore from BC-wotlk-cata, its nearly impossible. Plus the game is about evolving, not staying as it was before. You will get bored because there will be no new patches, no new lores etc, this is why there are new expansions, to keep the game live and active, and not to keep it dusty. Just stick with the game.

In my opinion the boss mechanics are now harder though such as in ICC, when many of the bosses require attention from all raid members, such as Sindragosa, Rotface, Deathbringer, Lich king, etc. Comment on what you think.

@ShAdOw116789 I agree, and there seem to be more fights with distinct phases, especially Yogg-Saron and the Lich King. This isn't to say that BC and Classic fights weren't difficult, but many of them were single-phase or merely built on a single mechanic as they went along (such as Kil'Jaeden).

I just reliezed 2 bosses were missing, Bloodlond Mandokir and Jin'do the Hexxer, but this was done in 07, so I don't really care that much about that, lol.

@ZYX305 Those two are optional bosses. There is also an elite hydra "boss" that only fishermen can summon (called Gahz'ranka). Each of the animal priests, when killed, removes a special ability from Hakkar, Mandokir and Jin'do the Hexxer do not... so they were probably been deemed "not important" enough for the storyline.

most of the old raids are made to require unwieldy 40 man groups, and generally took skill and extreme coordination in the high end, in stark contrast to the current hardest raid, malygos- which isnt hard to kill if you can get rid of the mouthbreathers who get cleaved and cant keep their stacks up.

the game used to be harder, and less then 5% of the population saw the content.

theyd need to do alot past just upping the npc's levels to make it cater to their currently targeted group (casuals)

First let me say this the hardest boss isn't Malygos, It's three drakes Sarithon and don't sit there and tell me that its an easy fight. I assure you three drakes sarithon is damn near the hardest thing I've ever done in this game and I was in a guild that cleared SP before the Nerf.

and I assure you Maylgos isn't that easy. It's alot trickier then just making sure no one eats a cleave. Even in the first phase he can be tough.

hehe used to get guildies to do it (mostly lv 70) it was freaking fun =D hehe was rlly fun to see when 3 mages arcane eksplosioned the panthers to death XD..was a rogue myself but was fun to actully be able to nuke some (skull) marked bosses <=P and most of time we where a group of mixed classes rarely 100% enough tanks or healers but was easy amd some low level guildies got some good pre bc gear...oh and its 56+ only i recomend 58+ ;-D
