  • huaaa..i enjoyed this! ;)

  • FUCK those who didn't like the song

  • In my opinion, this piece has hints of Pat Metheny in it ... or is that just my imagination playing tricks on me??

  • @katbunz26 metheny was a big influence on skolnick so it's probably in there.

  • The video could be better in my opinion, the fact that you have many overlaying video clips, and the colors, and the camera's picture quality are all great,.. but I have a feeling that something has been lost, through the video.. Maybe its just me.. but for a song with this kind of vibe, I feel the video is too spastic.. just my opinion though..

  • There's alot of loudness and energy in the silence if you know what I mean.

  • THE VIDEO,&THE SONG ARE MEGA SPLENDID!!!!!

also im so proud to see that a former thrash metal guitarist is delivering some awesome warm jazz melodies.

by tha way, check out chris poland (former megadeth)

  • Masterful!

  • I love this one too..

  • Excellent!!!!!

  • Very Good!!!

  • Someone just turned me onto this Trio, great feel and smooth!

  • I love this video. It reminds me not only how cool jazz is, but how much jazz influenced bands like Cynic and Atheist. You can totally hear the attitude coming out even though this track is so mellow. Alex Skolnick is a genius.

  • Songs ok (Alex is a hell of a player), but rather poor video editing skills prevail :/ ...

  • the song is amazing but honestly i didnt like the video

  • yeah i understand what you mean but overall its a straight simple video ...m mean did you really expect anything big to show up in this whole entire video ....besides i rather relax and not look at something thast was all flashy and full of heavy shit , insted ill kick back and enjoy the sounds

  • I like this video, song sounds soothing to me.

  • godly

  • awesome

  • When I was asked to edit this I was given a LOT of awesome video- and instead of using a third of it to make the typical "played as live" video and waste the beautiful shots Voos I cut it like this.

It's not a typical jazz video but then the trio is not a typical jazz band

  • Kimmy you did one hell of a job. Thanks for using all the video I shot for the Trio!

  • if you think the video is too intense, listen to some more TestAmenT \m/

  • Testament is to thrash metal what Elvis was to rock n' roll & rockabilly. Skolnick is not only at an extremely high level of technical skill, but his feel, art and substance are rarely seen in metal. He's a genius. He's what Bach would play if he were into metal.

  • the vocals sound like sting.

put in some more phat bass linz, phat beetz, n' some testament-like solo in thur, homes! :)

  • One really classy guitarist.....wonderful music from this band.

  • UGh.........editing is too fast. Makes my head spin. I would rather read the comments rather than watch it. sorry. Alex, please tour in Dallas soon.

  • This is bloody fantastic!

  • Really beautiful.

  • All guys is amazing..and the song perfect!

  • love the song...two words for the video: "seizure inducing"...sorry alex (smack frankie in the head for me for that one, please...)

  • I agree, too many edits/cuts. There's too much focus on how it was shot/camera tricks rather than the music and the playing. Otherwise there were some good lighting choices and was some other cool stuff going on there.

  • I don't really like this "oh, let's test the video mixer" video, but love your music anyway.

  • This was edited in avid, dude!

  • Great video. I met Alex in '92 at Musicians Institute and he was the coolest. He signed my guitar (a Jackson Custom)and took a picture with me. I also got to meet Paul Gilbert and Reeves Gabrel. Now that's awesome. Got some cool pictures of that. I also saw Testament this past month so i'm a happy guy.

  • Hey how about next time you show Alex playing the solo!

  • I really like this. His metal roots add mystique to his jazz persona, which really comes out in this video.

  • Alex, please come to Vegas.

  • Pratice what yout preach !!

I met you years ago at AIM in Atlanta shortly after you left T, and I was expecting riff-o-mania and you were playing to Dimeola backing tracks on a DAT and I was like WTF at first! then after listening you opened my mind. I was stuck in the metal tunnel vision mode. Now I love jazz & fusion. Don't really listen to much heavy stuff anymore.... I need complexity, improv and SKILLS !! Love the video guys. Can't wait to catch you in ATL & Chattanooga again !!!

  • Excellent video and impressionant, play jazz alex skolnick trio.
