floyd patterson a great boxer(mini tyson) and a gentleman, joe frazier (henrry armstrong in the hw) the most brave boxer in history, he had 2 balls. muhammad ali(sugar ray robinson in the hw) ali 64-67 simply the best hw ever.
and george foreman the strongest boxer ever and the hardest puncher of all time.
@combatesdeboxeo Look up a guy called Earnie Shavers rated as he hardest Puncher of all time and by all who fought him, Including Ali, Larry Holmes and Ken Korton, among others he is one greatest boxers never to win the Title.
i like how ali plays with smoking joe and right before foreman leaves he tries to get to him and foreman gently raises his hands like saying you see that one buddy lol
Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, United States Andy Kendall L Jorge Victor Ahumada KO 3 Jerry Quarry W Earnie Shavers TKO 1 Jose Casado W Ray Hernandez PTS 4 Pedro Soto W Angel Mercedes KO 1 Bob Stallings W Charley Green TKO 4
That was the entire card! Yes... Jerry Quarry STOPPED Earnie Shavers in 1 round that night!
Thanks Guru for posting this brings back some great memories of those days gone by.With this economy and people out of work maybe we will see some great fighters again like the old days.People got to make a living some way.
who cares quality man, this is legendary i will save this short video in my favs, thanks Guru, that was a goldtime lots of heavywaights with the same quality for the competition, I want to see another good era before i die
For sure! I wonder if we'll ever see another "golden age" of boxing in any weight division like this was? The Welterweight/Middleweight age of the late 70's/early 80's was also good! Leonard/Hearns/Duran/Hagler/Benitez/Palomino/Cuevas.... wow!
This was GREAT! Ali, Frazier and Foreman in the ring together. The rivalry between these guys was something else! They don`t make them like that anymore!
It's funny, back then, I used to always root against Ali. He was just "too good" and it seems that I wanted someone to beat him. Now... I MISS him and really appreciate his fantastic skills and personality!
Ali was a clown. He took all of the dignity out of boxing and turned into a pro wrestling style circus. Such a shame such a great fighter had no class.
lol @foreman

Iactually think that Foreman should have learned his lesson, and won the last two. If the would have meet three times.

Wish Ali/Foreman had fought three times like Ali/Frazier did. So many good heavyweights in those days.
