@TakeYoPruneJuice That episode is a filler. It's irrelevant to the storyline... During the vizard training he also uses Bankai but his hollowfication is totally different. Whatever... The explanation i gave is simple and makes sense. It's nothing complicated really.

This is in the manga, I know for a fact it is because I couldn't wait for it to be animated.

Also if you would listen/read whats said you would know that as he used his hollow mask more and more you could see his mask change until it was half black and half white. he went crazy in BANKA! add the fact he had mastered hollow power and and got taken over by hollow Ichigo just like he said he would do,

@killsuall They're both full hollowfications. The hollow inside Ichigo is a part of him. It progresses along with Ichigo. During the time between the first and second hollowfications Ichigo became stronger, making the hollow part of himself stronger too which is portrayed by a new look. Being immensely strong doesn't make him a vasto lorde. There are distinct requirements for one hollow to become a vasto lorde and the hollow inside Ichigo certainly doesn't meet those requirements.

@thekiddeathzone Dude, this is just what his full hollowfication looks like in bankai. There´s no complicated explanation required. I don´t know if you´ve noticed before, but ichigo never got fully hollowfied while in bankai untill he fought ulquiorra, and that´s when he goes into this form. You´ll know if you´ve been following bleach lately, somewhere around episode 335, he gets fully hollowfied again but he turns into his old hollow form again because he´s in shikai.
